Boys of Summer

So-

Not too much to report here, right now we're all taking time to enjoy the freedom of summer and doing our separate things between a few shows we have coming up. We'll be pla
ying in Winston-Salem at the Wherehouse with two fantastic bands --Terrance & The Tall Boys and Hammer No More The Fingers--on Friday night. If you're in the Triad area you should try and make it out. We will also be doing a low-key show at Carrboro's The Station on Saturday with Chapel Hill's The Alcazar Hotel. Both shows should be fun.

In other Huguenots news, we have the fortune to be joining not only our best friends Violet Vector & The Lovely Lovelies but also the fantastic Black Hollies at the Local 506 on Thursday June 25th. Below is the amazing poster than Dan Warfield (the brains behind our other groovy posters) designed for the show. Definitely the coolest poster we've ever had our names on. That evening promises to be a groove'n'paisley-filled evening so try and come out. Also, we're playing a short abbreviated set which will probably consist of half old songs and half new ones, so it might be wo
rth coming out to see that. Hope all is well, hope to see you out soon,

Sam
(wish me speedy recoveries--I've been nursing a really nasty sore throat for the last two weeks, so fingers crossed that I'll be medicated enough to make it through the shows this weekend)
