Newz

Hello one and all,

Just wanted to let you know that we will be going into a proper studio in the beginning of January to record a 5 song EP of new and old songs that will actually be worth the money we'll be charging for it. We appreciate everyone that's bought our self-made CDs at this point, but we've been made well aware that they just don't match up to the mind-melting intensity that is our live show. Behind the boards of the EP will be our good friend Nick Peterson, who helped us make our first EP way back in December. Unfortunately, it was a rushed job and done in one day, resulting in less that wonderful performances (due also to the fact that we'd only been playing together for two months at that point). Our great friend Alex Maiolo, of Violet Vector & The Lovely Lovelies fame, will be joining us for production duties, ensuring that we come out groovy as possible. As of now, this yet-to-be titled EP will feature these five songs, and should be available sometime in the early to mid Spring (around the same time as VVLL's new EP!):

Julia
Blow-Up
See and Be Seen
Changing Ways
She Keeps Moving

You've heard 'em before live, now you'll be able to groove in the convienience of your own home. Also, in live news, remember we'll be playing at Slim's in Raleigh with the infinitely groovy The Magic Babies at 10pm on Friday, December 5th. We also might be doing a New Year's Eve show in Charlotte, NC with our friends The Sammies. Stay tuned...

All Our Loving,
The 'Nots

The Huguenots in the Daily Tar Heel

Before the last show we did, we were interviewed by the Diversions section of the Daily Tar Heel to promote our upcoming show and illustrious reputation. Below is the link to check it out, it features some memorable quotes from your boys, as well as some insights into what makes us tick (or not). Enjoy!
